THE PADEL CLUB GEORGETOWN

Peter is the Sports Director and Head Coach of The Pádel Club Georgetown, a role he embraced upon joining the club's founding team in January 2025. Originally from Wimbledon, United Kingdom, he grew up competing in tennis, is a certified pádel instructor, and brings nearly a decade of coaching experience. Before moving to Guyana, Peter played and coached with the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI) for "The Squad," the UK's premier junior first team.

Sebastián Hernandez Rivera

Sebastián is the General Manager and Coach at The Pádel Club Georgetown, joining the founding team in July 2025. Originally from Pachuca, he brings a background in law (La Salle University, ITAM) and experience in both the Judiciary of Hidalgo and real estate development. A lifelong athlete, he played high-level soccer for 14 years with a collegiate scholarship and has practiced tennis for much of his life. He now channels that multi-sport foundation into pádel, complemented by Pilates Reformer training and a commitment to holistic performance.

Gerardo Penchyna Cárdenas is the COO and Founder of The Pádel Club Georgetown, Gerardo is a former Junior Davis Cup and NCAA Division I athlete, certified pádel and yoga instructor, and current master’s candidate in Pádel Club Management. With experience in Western Hemisphere diplomacy and policymaking, he brings a strategic, wellness-driven approach to coaching. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and basic French.
